Plein Air Burlington

Artists all over are painting outdoors; or as we like to call it, they are painting in Plein Air! These wonderful artists emerge from their studios to paint by rivers, on mountain tops or ever park along the roadside just to capture landscapes, figures  or even still lifes. Artists will be setting up their easels all over the City for this wonderful, week long event. The Plein Air Event will conclude with a display of the finished work, reception and auction at the Lyceum.

September 1:  Artist Application Deadline

September 22:  Artists arrive, register and have competition canvases stamped

September 22-24: Artists paint for Plein Air Burlington

September 24-28:  Exibition commences and all paintings will be exhibited until the Collectors Party

September 28:  Collectors Preview Party at Lyceum opens to ticketed collectors for viewing and voting.
